Die memo Brotbeutel aus Bio-Baumwolle sind die perfekte Alternative zu herkömmlichen Einwegtüten, die tagtäglich in großen Mengen über die Bäckereitheken gehen und anschließend weggeworfen werden. In den praktischen Zuziehbeuteln ist genug Platz, um Brot, Brötchen und sonstige Backwaren zu transportieren und auch andere lose Naturprodukte wie Obst, Gemüse oder Nüsse können darin aufbewahrt werden. Dank der atmungsaktiven Bio-Baumwolle, die unter anderem nach GOTS und Fairtrade zertifiziert ist, bleiben die Backwaren besonders lange frisch und knusprig und man kann sie auch zuhause in den Beuteln lagern. Sie eignen sich sogar für die Aufbewahrung im Kühl- oder Gefrierschrank.

Herstellung

Die memo Brotbeutel sind ein wichtiger Schritt in Richtung verpackungsfrei Einkaufen und tragen einen Teil dazu bei, Einwegverpackungen unterwegs zu vermeiden. Sie werden nach ökologischen und sozialen Standards hergestellt und erfüllen die Standards des Global Organic Textil Standard (GOTS), Fairtrade Cotton und des Grünen Knopfs. Die Siegel sichern die biologisch kontrollierte Herkunft der Baumwolle ab und minimieren soziale Risiken wie Kinder- und Zwangsarbeit, Menschenrechtsverletzungen, Diskriminierung und ungerechte Entlohnung. Bei der Herstellung wird zum Großteil auf regenerative Energien gesetzt (z.B. Sonnenenergie), die kontinuierlich weiter ausgebaut werden. Herstellungsort: Asien

Alle Herstellungsschritte, vom Bearbeiten der Baumwolle über Spinnen bis zur Konfektionierung der Produkte finden im südlichsten Bundesstaat Indiens, in Tamil Nadu statt. Kurze Transportwege sind dadurch gewährleistet. Seit vielen Jahren arbeiten wir mit einer deutschen Agentur zusammen, welche die Herstellungsbetriebe von der Produktentwicklung bis zum Versand des fertigen Produkts in unserem Auftrag persönlich vor Ort betreut. Neben Prüfungen der Arbeitsbedingungen und der Entlohnung der Mitarbeitenden, steht hier vor allem die Qualitätssicherung in Produkt, Produktion, Dokumentation sowie in Bezug auf die ethischen und sozialen Standards im Vordergrund. Im Herstellungsbetrieb ist für die Mitarbeitenden ein Beschwerdemechanismus eingerichtet. Zusätzlich zu diesem haben die Mitarbeitenden die Möglichkeit, Beschwerden direkt an die Agentur zu richten.

 

Entsorgung

Die Banderole Verpackung kann über den Papiermüll fachgerecht entsorgt werden.
